The area of the City of Trebinje is located in the extreme southern part of Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the hinterland of the southern Adriatic or the hinterland of the Dubrovnik-Hercegnovi coast. Trebinje is 27 km from Dubrovnik, and 40 km from Herceg Novi.
